Ray Dotson

President/Founding Partner

With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Ray Dotson is a founding partner and the President and CEO of Prestwick Construction. He has an extensive background in both new construction and renovations in the multifamily construction business and has built tens of thousands of apartment units in the Metro-Atlanta area and the Southeastern United States. Throughout the duration of his career, Ray has remained dedicated to building the highest quality multifamily homes in both the traditional market rate and affordable housing sectors.

As President of Prestwick Construction, Ray is responsible for running daily construction operations. This includes all construction management, estimating, pre-application and post award design, contract negotiations, and project production. Ray also works directly on business development, job cost reporting, hiring and team development. Ray has worked to build a team at Prestwick Construction that focuses on building strong relationships with diverse government agencies, consultants, vendors, and customers.

Ray is dedicated to not only building to the highest standards, but also believes in sustainable construction, as he is LEED AP as well as EarthCraft Builder Certified. A selection of the major multifamily projects he’s worked on include:
